YOUTH CENTRE AND ENTITITES IN LA SEDETA EQUIPMENT

The construction of a new equipment which will operate as a Youth Centre in this square is suggested. The proposal answers to the preoccupation of building the equipment activating the public space without losing usable space of the square.
The project is resolved in a unitary manner generating a new microtopography which contains the equipment program. Stands are vacated in order to make the space below habitable and permeable generating at the same time a new active equipment and integrated into the square dynamic. Digging the grades allows obtaining natural lighting and ventilation in the different equipment rooms.
Then, it is created a cover conceived as a new topography of the square that reconnects the two levels so that it has two uses: containing the equipment program and, on the other hand, reconnecting and intensifying the public space of La Sedeta.
